One of my heroes...

Me
If anyone didn't know (and that means you've been well out of earshot for a damned long time), I am a die-hard anarchocapitalist libertarian. I view the State as a blight upon humanity and something we'd all be better off without. I do not recognize the legitimacy of government nor the laws it instills (this, however, does not stop men with guns from beating said laws onto me while stripping me of my guns so that I may not resist).

Since I worked in the belly of the beast, I've gone further and further towards this political, social, and economic philosophy/theory. I've seen firsthand the effects of government corruption and waste, and the poisonous lethargy that flows through people so accustomed to nursing at the State's teat.

I've had the benefit of reading a great many libertarian authors. My absolute favorite, and the man I'd like to be when I grow up, is Justin Raimondo. Justin has been waxing political longer than I've been alive and writes with such zeal and bite that I am all but spellbound as I read every new article he posts. He's frequently hosted on antiwar.com and on Taki's Top Drawer (where he is a helluva lot cruder, but so much wittier for it).

Even if you're just breezing by (I SEE YOU OUT THERE, LURKERS!), I strongly urge you to visit and read his articles. He's gotta be the most informed columnist on the market today.
